There Is No "Next Level"
People in my industry love promoting to get you to the “next level.”
Like these big names:
But what is this illustrious next level?
I get the metaphor. Life is an infinite game, and in some games, there are levels.
However, the issue with getting to the next level is that once we're there, we want to get to the next one, and the next, and the next, until we....win the game.
What do you do after you win a video game?
You find another game to win.
This endless cycle of discontentment is the problem with self-improvement.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for growing, succeeding, and expanding our horizons.
The issue is how we do it.
If we're never content with where we are, then what’s the point?
I invite you to slow down and ask yourself.
What if there is no next level?
What if this is it?
This might sound hopeless. But if you let it work on you long enough, paradox ensues.
If you realize there is no next level, you drop into Presence, and from Presence, the next level arises—although saying it’s “next” isn’t the right word.
It’s more like it’s always been there, and you’re only now recognizing it.
As you contact your Essence, what unfolds is your creativity, power, and flow.
This leads you to thrive in ways you didn't know were possible.
These untapped resources feel new. They feel like the next level, but they’re not.
They're who you really Are.
Do you feel me?
I hope you do.
Stop rushing to the next thing.
It’s all right now.
It’s alright now.
Relax into the perfectness of where you are and who you Are.
