What's Your Music?
I wrote a post on previous article describing why I hate the question, "What do you do?" And how I view myself as a "Meditation Artist." You can read that here.
I want to to expand on the analogy and invite you to consider what your music is?
Music is a great metaphor for how we impact people because music is a vibration.
When we listen to our favorite artists, energy travels from their instruments or voices and activates the same frequency in us.
They may be putting words to our experiences or expressing emotion that strikes the chord of our shared humanity.
Whatever it is, The world needs artists now more than ever.
In a divisive political climate and AI advancement, we need people who can help us feel less alone and more human.
Art connects.
Art heals.
We need more artists to help us transcend our ego and remind us of who we are.
And [FIRST NAME GOES HERE], I believe You Are a Musician.
Your music is felt through the energy you put out.
Meditation and healing modalities help us tune our instruments to become tonic for the world.
I invite you to consider how you might go through today being a musician.
See how you're creating and impacting your environment wherever you go.
You may find you're guided to do exactly what you need to do at exactly when you need to do it.
If your art takes the form of writing, painting, business, cooking, or child-raising, may you do it with Love, because as Khalil Gibran said, "Work is Love Made Visible."
If you have another way you express your music in the world, reply and let me know.
And—If you are a meditation guide or coach, know that meditation can be a canvas for expressing your art.
I help people find their art and channel their music into the world.
I can't teach people to play guitar, but I know some things about creating meditations that inspire, connect, and heal.
I created Meditation Course Creator Academy to help you find your unique way of bringing your meditation art to life.
