Am I a hypocrite?
I'm in Ocean City, NJ, spending the week at the beach with family. I'm balancing keeping my business running while enjoying some sun.
I had to laugh when writing this article.
I run a mastermind group for meditation teachers, coaches, breathwork facilitators, and wellness entrepreneurs.
Here's why this is awkward…
When I discuss who the mastermind is for, I speak out against promoting the "digital nomad" lifestyle.
Here's my exact words…
This group is not for you if you see teaching meditation or coaching as an easy way to make money so you can have more time to lay on the beach.
And here I am, sending this letter and heading to the beach!
Am I a hypocrite?
I'll let you be the judge.
I don't do this work to have more freedom.
Yes, that is a beauuuutifullll effect—but it's not the WHY.
I do this work out of a calling to be an instrument of God and serve in the unique ways I can.
So many coaches promote the lifestyle. Yet, is that really what our greatest potential is about?
Anyone great in their field has a meaningful why.
The Olympic athletes don't practice for all that time just to get to vacation.
They devote themselves to their craft, often without seeing the fruits of their efforts for years.
That is the mindset we should have when building a business that allows us to do the work we love for the long game.
My mastermind group is for these people—the ones devoted to giving their all to their life's work.
The next cohort begins September 4th.
Doors to join are open!
