MY STORY
I’ve stood on that porch.
In 2014, I began my spiritual journey. At the time, I worked as a credit analyst for an international brand, collecting money from past-due accounts. As I started reading about purpose and intention, a spark lit inside me that had been dormant for years. I realized I wasn't put on this earth for that. I dreamed of finding work I could put a piece of my soul into.In 2015, I had a spiritual experience that changed the course of my life. I stopped drinking. I quit my corporate job. I wanted to write and speak about the potential of meditation, but I had absolutely no idea how.So I tried. Two Toastmasters meetings a week. I wrote a book. Two years of daily grinding against self-doubt. Nothing was working. My wife and I moved in with my parents. And in June of 2017, sitting on their porch, sobbing, I told her: "I don't know if I can go on like this."The next day I had a discovery call with a coach. She helped me through the fear and self-doubt, restored my belief in what I knew was possible, and gave me the direction I needed.
It's not about how good you are.
It's about how much belief you have.
God can only meet us halfway.
We have to be willing to take a chance.
And trust me, we are all capable of more than we currently believe.Now I work with creatives, writers, artists, makers, teachers, people who feel called to something more, who are standing at their own version of that porch.
