Hello and welcome to another solo episode of the Art and Business of Meditation podcast. I am your host, Lou Redmond, and I haven't recorded an episode of this podcast in a long time. It's actually Saturday, August 3rd. The last time I recorded this podcast was mid June. And to the outside observer, I have still been posting. But that's the beauty of having content and front loading and, you know, having things set up so that for me, I was on a long trip, I got married and went on our honeymoon and was still being able to do the work that I love, was able to still meet with my mastermind, See See clients and of course take time for myself. And it was a huge portal of transformation that I will speak to in other areas. But for the sake of this podcast, I just want to speak to the realization of a dream and the fact that what a blessing. I don't pitch the laptop lifestyle digital Nomad piece even though that was a dream for myself. But I think people can get skewed when they sell the aspiration rather than really the intention. Whereas the intention is more to serve and to help. And yes, I got to travel and have a lot of time. I think that's the biggest thing that we get back is when we're starting to build our own business and do this work, is that instead of trading our time for dollars, we in some ways start to use our dollars to get back our time and use our time for the things that are and meaningful and not feel like we need to, you know, send a bunch of notices and be thinking about work and only get, you know, three weeks vacation a year. But to actually, really live our lives without the fear of I need to spend this amount of time in this traditional working role. So I am so blessed to be able to do that in my life. And I hope the things that I share allow you, you to be able to step into that in your life, to spend your time doing the work that's meaningful to you and with the people that you most love and want to spend time with. Because that's what this life is about, right? What are we doing on here? What are we doing on this planet? But to really, fully embrace. To fully. What's the word I'm looking for? To savor. To savor what life has and to live it fully. And I am blessed that I got to do that this last month. And so I'm coming back and getting a chance to share with you again. I'm excited to get back into more of a routine and working here as we enter the dog days of summer and into the fall. So what do I want to talk about today? Funny enough, the day before I was going into like my week long, just turning off my phone, entering into this matrimony portal that I was in and just really not giving energy to computers and work and seeing what's going on in the international sphere. But as I was doing that, I got an email from Insight Timer announcing some changes that they are making. And wow, it was either the worst time or the best time to get that news because it was a bomb drop, especially for me. And we'll get into for those of you that are questioning what this was, I'm sure if you're on Insight Time and you're a teacher, you already know what I'm talking about, but I'll explain that in a second. But it was, it was a news of some big changes that were happening that, that impacted me hugely and I kind of had to get that news and then just let it go and be like, well, I'll think about this at some other time because this is not the time to do it. You know, I would have done this type of podcast way sooner. I would have probably done it immediately to share my thoughts on what happened. But I'm doing it now. And so whether it's still relevant for you or helpful for you, alas, that's what we're doing. So let's get into that piece. I want to talk about a couple things today. I want to talk about my thoughts, my responses to the Insight Timer changes and maybe help you think about it in a different way or more empowered way is more so what I would say. And then also to share a bit about the things that I have and I'm feeling excited about stepping into and a little bit about the mastermind group that I have and share a little bit about this great love of an offer that I have in this last year. So first let's talk about the changes over at Insight Timer. For some of you I know are on Insight Timer and our teachers and understand this. And for some of you, maybe you're listening to this podcast coming from a different sphere and Insight Timer, wherever you're at in the teaching or spiritual guidance or coaching, I think anyone can find some kind of home on Insight Timer. So let's get into the bomb that Christopher Plowman dropped on Insight Timer teachers and the biggest thing that they expressed is the changes to the teacher's pay. So the way that it has been, has been Inside Timer shares 50% with teachers, they keep 50%. Amazing, super generous. The quickest shift that they made is now they're keeping 60% and paying out 40%. So just the essence of the pool is getting smaller. The next one which impacts people like me who have many courses that get many comments is that Insight Timer for ever since they had a payment model since 2019 were paying teachers for replying to both track comments and course comments. And the way that the numbers worked out is that course comments got a much higher percentage payout because there was more money going to their premium. Payouts to teachers and courses was in the premium section, while regular tracks are in the free section. So they are stopping paying teachers for those replies. They originally did it because they wanted to increase the community engagement and give incentives to teachers to share and respond, which was a huge blessing and just been so grateful for that the entire time. And unfortunately, as many things of this nature, when they involve money and figuring out a way to optimize it, or not even to optimize it, to manipulate it and take it advantage of it, I guess some people were doing that and they caught them and they were losing money and they just wanted to end the bad actors and Insight Timers at a different stage in their business journey and are now not paying teachers for those course comments. And so that's the biggest thing and that's the biggest impact on me. That's the biggest impact on many other teachers that I know. Now they said that this is going to be a net positive for most teachers. And when I heard that, I was like, I guess when they say most teachers, but any teacher that has a good course that's getting comments, it can't be good for if you're not getting any comments or you don't have courses. Yeah, then now you're going to get a bigger pool of revenue. So I didn't understand that just because personally, obviously I am negatively impacted. But I trust that they know the numbers more than I know the overall numbers. And so I'll talk about that in a second. Let me just go through the other changes. That's the biggest changes that are taking place immediately. And the other thing that they're bringing in that's supposed to be a positive is this idea of return rate bonus that if you have a track or a course and it continually brings people back to the app the next day, that is going to get weighted at a higher level in their payment. So it's not as simple as one play of one track equals this amount of money anymore. There's some weight in how that track is doing and bringing people back to the app. Regardless if people are going to your track again, they don't really care. They just want people back to the app. That's their incentive. And if your track does that, then there's a wait on that. I have some thoughts on this again. I'll get to that in a second. Let me just keep going through. So those are more of the immediate changes that should be taking place in the next pay cycle. So in the August pay cycle that will be reflected. There's also a teacher salary fund which is incredible that they did that. I think of 550,000 that are getting paid out to support teachers like me and others who are being negatively impact. And I had a call with the COO of Insight Timer and I saw how my actual revenue was being impacted and it was exactly what I thought it would be. Since I make about 50% of my income through responding to my courses, my income is going down 47% based on these new features being implemented. And so what does that actually look like in tangible numbers? For me It'll be about $1,500 a loss of income that they are using this fund for the next three months to help me with that. So amazing. So in the next month, even though I lose 1500, they should give me that back in a fund. And obviously if this implies to you and your teacher who's going to be losing money, they should be giving your loss back from that fund. So we have another few months to figure other things out before we actually lose that income. So other things that aren't as immediate are things that they're working on bringing in new revenue streams. That's Insight Timer retreats. So if you have a retreat that you want to offer that's in person or if you have a training, let's say you do a meditation teacher training or you do some other trainings and you want to promote that through Insight Timer. This could be a really great way to do that. Now it has to be in person and there's a reason for that. As I spoke to the CEO and I'll get to that here in a second. I keep feeling like I'm just, I should just test say everything as I'm going through it. But I'm just going to keep talking so I want to just get high level. And the other thing that they're going to think about adding is a direct to teacher subscription where your student or a user is paying you. They're paying their inside time or premium membership, whether it's $60 a year, I'm not sure what it is right now. And they might pay you, let's say $10 a month to have access to a different community or different content similar to how do it in a Patreon or a newsletter subscription. So just having a personal subscription from a student and this is a feature that I've been asking for for years, not that I know exactly how I'm gonna use it, but I just think it's a really cool potential. So I'm bullish on that. I'm less bullish on retreats. I'll explain why in a second. But those are the high level things. So changes to teacher pay from 60% to 40%, from, excuse me, 50% to 40% and then cutting out those community responses, which is a big piece of loss for many teachers. So how to think about this if you are going to be impacted negatively, how am I thinking about this? Because really that's how I'm thinking about this, because I'm being impacted negatively. 1 and I think Darius Bashar, who I know a lot of you love in past guests multiple times on the podcast because he has a really positive outlook on this and really helped me to remember that Insight Timer is its own organism. And just like we are doing the best for our business, Insight Timer needs to do the best for the health of Insight Timer. Because if it's not healthy, then none of us are benefiting. So it needs to do what's best for Insight Timer. So we can complain, we can understand that it's negatively impacting us, but we have to remember that they're doing what's best for them as a company and that's exactly what they should do. That's in a way that's aligned with their values and the things that are important to them. So I think that's what they're doing. And so at the end of the day, yay, we trust the unfolding. And this is the other piece here. We're all spiritual folk that maybe, I don't know, I'll speak for myself, believe in a greater unfolding of mystery that we can't quite understand. And so our job is to align ourselves with that unfolding, our own unfolding, and follow that current and trust that every single thing that is happening is in perfect order. We might not like it, we might have preferences to be other ways, but once we come into that full embodied acceptance and trust that it is what it is, then we have are in a state of self empowerment to navigate that the best and to trust that it is actually for the best of the greatest good. And so, again, just that having that perspective allows us to be like, oh. Instead of resisting and fighting against it and saying why and going into panic asking, whoa, how is this exactly what's supposed to happen for me? What is it? How am I supposed to be losing 1,500amonth now? How is that exactly what needs to happen, and that's what I would start for you all, is to really trust that this is perfect. How amazing this is, that this is happening now. Because what could come of it? I love when I get a kick in the ass to not depend on anything else. But the things that I'm creating, because I say this all the time, is that you shouldn't have all of your eggs in the inside Timer basket or the YouTube basket or the Instagram basket. That we need to have multiple streams of where we're sharing our work and how we are able to create revenue and make a living. And so when I got this message, honestly, like, the first energy I got was, all right, let's go. You know, there's another kick in the butt to shift gears and say, okay, yeah, the things that I'm building outside of Insight Timer are even that much more important to keep dialing in, because we don't can. People can change, things can change. I've said this in this podcast before. Insight Timer can change. And, oh, look what happened. They are changing. So we need to continue to build out our work to have a little bit more. I don't want to say control, because it's a strong word, but, yeah, to have our own source, that we are the source of the income generation, not some other entity. That's why we left our corporate jobs, right? Because we had not stopped depending on another corporation to pay us again. Endless blessings, endless gratitude for Insight Timer. Some of you wouldn't even listen to this podcast if you didn't find me there. And some of you have similar stories with. With how you're able to grow on Inside Timer. Endless gratitude. However, it's still, we have to figure out a way to build outside of it. So I know I'm going on and on over the same thing, but I really want to drive this home because I found this really empowering. I get excited about this stuff. Oh, you want to cut out all my income? Let's go figure out how to make this work. It's just. I don't know, it's why I feel born to be an entrepreneur, because I really love this uncertainty and the way to figure out and have fun in that game for you. You might not have the same makeup. That's not to say that you shouldn't be building your own business. But I also have to have like turn a mirror to myself and say, Lou, everyone's not like you. Like, remember that people have different experiences of these things. But I hope that just my energy around it maybe can infuse some of that. Yeah, like let's go. What's the opportunity here? What is the opportunity for you here? That's the question that I invite you to sit with, to meditate on, to journal and to see what comes. So that's how I feel about the loss of income that's going to be coming in the next few months. Is just fired up, excited, ready to build and continue to create. Now separate that energy from maybe opinions or thoughts that I have around this new feature of rate of return. At first I was excited about it. I felt like I have good content that would bring people back. But in speaking with the coo, Luke Jordan and just seeing the actual numbers, my numbers are good on the rate of return. The thing that I realized though is just it doesn't feel like it's the most perfect system and I'm just playing theoretical things in my mind. They all obviously have more of the numbers on their end. But when I think of someone taking a course and just to understand if someone takes something, they take a track. They love the track that they take took from you, but they don't come back to the app the next day, that is negatively impacting that track, which at some point is actually negatively impacting your revenue. And that's where this starts to break down. Inside Timer is trying to get people to build a habit and come back to the app. Cause that's obviously gonna benefit them the most. And, and it doesn't always equate to this was bad or good content. It's just, hey, did they come back to the app? Another place where this breaks down is I have 21 day courses that can be really in depth and I know people that take the courses slowly. So let's just say I'm on the app and all I'm using it right now is for a course. Whether it's like mine or whether it's another maybe 30 day course or longer course or even shorter course. Maybe a really in depth five day course where people want to take their time and they do one day and they say wow, okay, I've gotten a lot from this, and I want to put it into practice over the next two days. And I'm actually not going to come back to the app. But in two days, then they do day two, in four days, they do day six. They take their time to do the course. And if they're taking their time to do the course, they are continually negatively impacting those plays. And so, again, it's not a perfect system. It's not a perfect system. Just playing some of these hypothetical scenarios where just because your track has a high rate of return or it has a low rate of return, it doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad or a good track. It's just not. There's just. There's just some. Some other things at play. And so when I saw that on the back end, I. And knowing that that's going to impact the actual revenue, because the way that they're waiting, if it has a great rate of return, you're going to get weighted a little bit more. I was feeling a little. Yeah, I just. It's not perfect. I wish it was better. But they're doing their best. They're doing their best, and we, again, have to roll with what's happening. So those are my initial intuitions around the rate of return. We'll see how it pans out. I could be totally wrong. I hope I'm totally wrong. And it's, It's. It's really beneficial to everyone, and I'm not sure. So we'll see how that plays out. Again, these are just more feelings, opinions, but it's all rooting under. And sometimes I had this conversation and I talked to Luke and I've been around for a long time, so I've known him for a while, and I feel like I'm like. Even though I'm pretty young, I'm like a grandpa on Inside Timer. And so you know how grandpas can have that kind of cynical, negative energy. Oh, back in my day, this is not going to be right or anything new is criticized. So I'm aware that I could have some of that energy. And that's just what happens when I've been with insight timers since 2016, so maybe that can come through. But divorcing that negative energy from the. Okay, we're going to roll with it. There's two parts of me speaking, so I hope you can hear that. And I can use my own podcast to share whatever I want, because that's the part of having a podcast anyway. So those are my. That's my feelings of the rate of Return how I feel about retreats. At first I was, I didn't understand why they would put a lot of energy in this area. I was genuinely like, is this the best use of energy to put in this area? Because if you were around three or four years ago, Inside Timer tried out a mentorship and online workshop offer and feature that because they were running into big financial issues, they had to shut down. And so with that in mind, I was curious why these retreats and in again having a conversation with Luke, I was able to understand it a little bit more and understand that the impact I guess where this question was like, why not just try and go back to some kind of online thing, right? What if I'm not doing an in person thing, which is the hardest thing to get people to attend. They have to build the most amount of trust. If you've seen, you've listened to my episode, if you're interested, if you're interested in running retreats, if you're running retreats. I have an episode about retreats on this podcast. And knowing all that goes into it, knowing, I mean again, this is coming from one person's perspective. But to sustain continual retreats can be challenging because you have to build the the biggest amount of trust. It's often the last thing that a teacher should offer in their line of offers because it takes the biggest amount of investment, both often monetarily, but even more so psychically and energetically, to get people there and also to do all the logistics behind getting a retreat going. So not to say people do very well in retreats, but I was just curious as why this in person thing that they're going to try and offer, why not do you know what if I want to do an online thing? And so I had a little curiosity there and the reason is Apple's gonna take 30% of anything online. But if it's in person, they don't have to worry about Apple. So they can't do those online things right now with how the Apple's policy is, which is ridiculous. But Apple is not gonna change for just one little company. But they're seeing it as a digital product and not as what it is. And so that's why they are doing this in person. And they don't have to have a lot of the resources on the back end like they did when they were helping us giving teachers zooms and giving calendars and there was just a lot of money that they were spending and all the assistants that had to help when things didn't go right and There was a lot on the back end so they had to scrap that. And this retreats is just giving people an opportunity to share retreats which great. They don't have to do a lot. They take a little bit of commission. It could help teachers, I think where I had some judgments or opinions. Grandpa Lou Energy came in. Just one day you're on the app and it's cool and it's normal. It's what it is. And then the next day everyone's got a retreat that they're promoting and talking about. It's almost like can be overwhelming where. And then people start complaining, why aren't my retreats filling? I had this. They wanted me to do this retreat and now it's not filling on the app there and blaming inside timer, which is something you should not do with anything. We should not blame anyone for anything other than ourselves and really take all of our responsibility. You guys know that. You know this. You're a coach, right? You're empowered. Anyway, I could just see everyone talking about the retreats from one day to the next and just was curious about as a user who has no interest in going on a retreat, how is that going to impact? Because retreats aren't big. Let's say you're even filling your retreats. What you're getting, depending on the type of retreats. Let's say you're getting 12, 15 people out of 27 million users. And so maybe it's annoying to the other users that are there to use it as a meditation app and don't want to go on retreats. But now every teacher on every single live event is only talking about retreats. I don't know. I'm being cynical. I know. I'm just. These are the curiosities that came, so I'm sharing them with you. It could be great. It could be so supportive that people are able to then offer this bigger offering. Maybe I'm saying this too because I don't have a retreat or training and it's like, well, I don't know if I'm going to use this anytime soon. And I don't have any interest in doing a retreat or trading maybe something in person though in some other capacity, which I guess technically would be a retreat as I speak that out loud. But I don't like the logistic piece on it. So this could also be coming from. Okay, they took my income away and they're doing this other thing that I'm not going to be able to use. So there could be some of that energy in there, but I don't know. This is a conversation. I hope I'm just sparking different thoughts in your mind so that you can think independently on how you. I'm definitely by no means the ultimate orator of what this actually is, that these are just where my mind's going. And a podcast is about sharing your mind, or at least my mind. So maybe that's sparking something for you or different ways that you might be thinking about it. I think if you have the opportunity to take advantage of any new offering offer that Inside Timer has, please go take advantage of it. Like if you have a retreat and now you can promote on Inside Timer in front of millions. Oh my gosh, what an opportunity. If you have a training now, you can put it on Inside Timer and get people to come. Amazing. Take advantage of it or think about how you can take advantage of it if that's something that does align for you. All right, retreat. Feedback over. Last thing I want to give feedback on is the direct to teacher subscriptions. I'm excited about this. Again, I've wanted this for a while. I don't know exactly know how I will use it. I don't know exactly how it's going to look, but I think it has potential in and of itself to be something really well done. Because I've always thought like, you know, we're on. Some people are on Inside Timer and either they want to support more, but they don't know how. Maybe they'll do a donation once, but having some kind of subscription model where they can support then get some extra features from that teacher, I think can do well. It works in other places, it works in substack, it works in other areas online. So I think there's a potential here. I'm excited about it. Again, when they're going to have how this looks open, it's unsure. So right now we're just navigating more of the. The impact that it's going to have to us without these new features. But Insight Timer is trying to change and I always respect taking new chances, trying new things. That's the art of what we're talking about here. Building any business, pivoting. Hey, let's try this thing. Let's try this thing. Let's fail faster so that we can know what works, what doesn't. Let's tweak it here, let's dial it in here. And so that's what Inside Timer is doing. And here we are navigating it. And so coming back to my first essence around My feedback is I'm excited. I'm excited for the energy of what new. New is going to come, and I hope you are, too. I hope you take this news and think about what you can create. How do you make the best? How do you find the silver lining in this opportunity and see that this is exactly what is meant to happen. All right. I think that's all I got to say about the Insight Timer news. And maybe it's too late. It's a month later now, but we'll see. We'll see. I. My vision is to have someone from Inside Timer on the podcast. Whether that's Chris, whether that's Luke, whether that's a couple other people that are there. I've always thought that that would be cool, whether it's talking about this or something else. So maybe that'll happen. And if you do hear it, they said yes, and if not, just stay tuned. And I wanted to talk. I thought I was going to talk. I talked. I'm already talking for 30 minutes about the changes. I thought this was going to be a short episode. So sorry about that, and thank you. If you're still listening, I wanted to talk about the mastermind that I have, and before I do, you know, last time I did a little short teaching on here. I think it's, you know, the problem in the spiritual coaching world. And then I went into a lot of talking about the mastermind, and I got some feedback that it was a long promotion. And it is a. It's a listener that end up, and a, you know, person that I'm connected to and have done some work with, and I value his feedback. So if you're listening to this, I won't say his name, but if you're listening to this, I value that feedback. And at first I was like, oh, kind of took it and it was tough to hear of. Like, oh, no, am I promoting? And then I was like, wait a second. This is my podcast. Of course I'm gonna promote stuff on my podcast. This is my podcast. This is what I could do. This is where I would promote stuff. Like, I could do whatever I want on my podcast. It's my podcast. It's not Inside Timer. It's not where I have to not tell things that are going on. And at the same time, I realized that, what is it about that judgment we have when someone starts promoting? Once you say promotion, people are like, I don't want to listen to it. Where if you really believe in the thing that you have, you want to tell people about it because you know, it's valuable, you know it can help people. And you know, we all have such weird energy around promoting or marketing or selling. And those can be kind of marketing and promoting or closer than the selling piece. But it's so important. Sales and marketing is so important. And I'll be talking more about this in upcoming episodes because I've been doing a lot of study and understanding and trying to get better and grow my skills and to understand that if you want to run a business, sales and marketing are so important as to running of the business. And so if you're listening to this and you're wanting to have a business that is fulfilling and generating the amount of revenue for you to live the life that you want to live, then any energy around, oh my gosh, someone's starting to promote me or to sell me and you shut down. That is only going to block you when you need to do the same thing. Right? So I'm just saying that because I think it's important. It's important to recognize when someone starts selling something, what happens to our nervous system? What happens, what judgments do we start having? Because those. And yes, there's sleazy stuff out there, and I'm not negating that, but just being curious about that in your own experience. And all I wanted to talk about is the Meraki Mastermind, which, if you haven't heard me talking about it, it's a mastermind group that I have for meditation teachers, spiritual creators, people finding their own way in their business, bringing the things that they love, their passions, bringing their dreams to reality. It's a group that supports that. It's not a program, it's not a course, it's not an A to B sort of thing. It's an ongoing group that sometimes we have guest experts come on and share their knowledge and we ask questions. Sometimes I do different teachings where people get feedb or they help each other get feedback, maybe on their websites, things like that. Or we just support each other in the individual things that they're going through. And just having a group that gets why you're doing this, that is doing it in their own way, and we can share ideas and we can support each other is invaluable. You know my me, if you know me, you know my story. A mastermind is, is why I'm here. And so this offering, or this offer to use my offer verse, offering distinction, is really near and dear to my heart. We just finished up our summer cohort. We're on a bit of a summer Break. The next cohort is going to begin September 4th, and it's a really great place to tap in, to stop being a lone wolf, to get business support and just the energy of others are doing it. And so I speak about Meraki Mastermind. Meraki is a Greek word which means for putting an essence of your soul and doing something with love and passion. It's a beautiful word, and I think it encapsulates what we're doing there. And most of the members are staying, so there's not a ton of spots left. You know, each three months I open the doors, a couple members leave, a couple members, you know, come in, and then the same kind of thing happens. And so there's been people that have been with Meraki for now almost a year, and I look forward to seeing how this continues to unfold. There's no website at this moment. It's invitation only, based on you responding that you're interested, us having a little conversation, making sure that this is a fit, that it's going to potentially support the things that you're doing and you're a fit for the group. And we go from there. And so if this calls to you, if you're looking for a group, especially for this next fall, to support you and the work that you're doing, please shoot me an email. You can find the contact in the link below. Send me an email. Send me you're interested in the Mastermind and we'll talk more about what it looks like. And you can also find previous podcast episodes, the Power of a Mastermind, and the Problem with Spiritual in the spiritual coaching world. So if you scroll back and find those episodes, I'll talk a little bit more about Meraki Mastermind. But I wanted to speak that because it is this summer break and the doors are open for new members. So we'd love if that's you. And if this is something that you've been calling in or looking for, I would love to tell you more about it. And we'll see if it works out and aligns. And if it's not the right time, great. Man, I'm so trusting of the timing. When we talk about sales, we'll talk about the power of, like, knowing something's valuable and not feeling, like, not caring if other people are even signing up. Not to say I don't care. I care deeply, but not being attached. And so, yeah, if it calls to you, great. And if not, great. And that's what this journey is about. I hope you do find some support. Part of what I'm thinking of this next year. Now that I've passed last six months, I've been really focused on relationship and my wedding and marriage and setting that up and doing so much work around that. And now through that, not that a marriage, you know, really has only just begun, but now I'm able to focus more on business and some work stuff and channeling those resources in that way. So whether you're investing in my mastermind or the things that I have going, or finding your own spaces, there's so many people that reach out to me and say, hey, I found this person on this podcast. I started working with this person on this podcast because I've heard them on this podcast, and that makes me so freaking happy. Like, I love this podcast to be a platform for other people to find the right people that can work with them. And that is so fulfilling to me. And so I say this because it doesn't matter if you enroll for my stuff, but find something that you can channel that energy of investment in, because that's going to come back to you. I really believe it. Instead of holding on to our resources, channeling it, using it to grow, that's part of what we need to do in business. And I want to be someone that's. That's promoting that, not just because, hey, spend more money with me. Right? I'm not trying to do this in a, like, manipulative way, but a very authentic way of like, hey, we need this is. This money is not an end to itself. This energy that we have can help things grow and we can learn new things. And it also spreads. It spreads the energy to more people, and more people are supported in their gifts. Like, wow. Like, that's what the money, as I've said, maybe on this podcast in the past, I think I have, where it's not our money, it's God's money, and we're conduits, and we're trading it. You know, we're coming in here and we're giving it over there because that person, you know, is sharing their gifts, and then. And then they're sharing with that person that's sharing their gifts. And it's this kind of intersecting flow that's supporting everyone where we all get to thrive. And it doesn't happen if we're in our fear and holding it and hoarding it because we feel like we need to, you know, not to say that we don't save. I'm going on a rant about money that I did not intend to go on, but. But I would just wrap it up here in a second. Listen to my podcast episodes around money if you're wanting to hear more. But saying this essence fall's coming up. It's technically a big time where people start to make moves, school starts. It's got that energy of almost like a new Year's, like, okay, things are starting again that find mentors, find programs, find courses, find masterminds that will help you to expand your work at the level that you can afford, at the level that makes sense for you. Don't go into financial ruins, but understand that every dollar you put into your business will come back times 10 at some point. This is a belief that I hold deeply. Some of that money hasn't come back yet, but I believe it's coming, putting a lot in and some I've seen 100% has. And so find something this fall to put that energy into. And if it's my mastermind, great. No, just kidding. If it's my mastermind, great. But I could just. I could see the judgment. Lou's telling me to spend money, but then telling me where to spend my money. This is a little shady what's going on here. I think you get the energy it's coming from. I'm gonna stop trying to explain myself. I probably should cut this and record again, but I'm not. Because work doesn't have to always be such a grind and we don't always feel like we need to get it perfect. And even though in my head I'm like, man, did you really have to go on an 8 minute rant on that? Probably not, but maybe I needed to for someone that's listening and I can let go of thinking that I know exactly what. What's going to be the best piece of content and just trust that I just got on this and said what needed to be said and. And hopefully that's valuable to someone and. All right, Lou, that's it. That's all I got. I thought, I swear I thought this was going to be a 15 minute podcast. 20 minutes max. It's double that if you're still listening. Deep bows for your attention. You're going to go far, far in this journey. You got the willpower, you got the discipline. All right, stop talking, Lou. Thanks for being here. I'll see you on the next episode of the Art and Business and Meditation podcast. Lots of dear love and reverence to you for being and willing to do this work. Take care.
