Speed Check

Imagine this…

You're on a summer road trip from Oklahoma to New York City. At the start of your drive, the speed limit is 75, higher than you're used to. At first, It's uncomfortable.

Everyone rushes by as it takes you a few minutes to settle in. Once you get up to speed, you find your cadence, and 80mph becomes normal.

The speed becomes so subconscious that you catch yourself going 90! Being a law-abiding citizen, you gear back.

You cruise along good ole U S of A, and find yourself in New Jersey. Eek! There is more traffic and the speed limit changes.

Everyone is going slower than you're used to, so you dial it back. At first, it feels uncomfortable. You miss the ease and speed of the open road. However, you don't notice it after a while, and it becomes normal—55mph feels like 75 did.

What am I getting at?

We're programmed to imitate our environment. It's how we learn language and how to fit in.

If our environment only knows how to go 25mph, that is what we know and how we subconsciously act.

Speed is a metaphor for potential.

If our environment is mostly people living at half their potential, we subconsciously live at half of ours.

So what do we do?

A decade ago, I was going 25mph—drinking, clocking into work, and just living for the weekend.

I had no idea I had books in me to write, people I could help, or a life of freedom I could live. I thought life was about following the corporate script and having as much fun as possible.

That was until I found my first mastermind in 2014. I walked into that room and was forever changed.

It's as if my 2007 Corolla just entered a highway with Maseratis.

These people helped me see my potential. They supported me in taking risks and living a life of meaning and purpose.

And they showed me new things, one of which was meditation.

Through meditation, I found my place in the Universe—I found who I really Am—I found God.

Now, "All Things Are Possible."

It's been a decade since my first mastermind. I have to pause and ask myself, like literally HOLY F*&^! How did I get here? How am I able to live this life?

It all comes back to environment.

You don't take a plane to Seattle if you want to go to San Diego.

Getting to where you want to go is easier if you’re around others going in the same direction.

I started my group, Meraki Mastermind, in the Spirit of my first mastermind.

Meraki Mastermind is for people on the path of realizing their Soul's mission.

It's for people who feel they have found their calling and need help bringing it to more people.

It's for wellness practitioners, speakers, authors, meditation guides, coaches, healers, and creative entrepreneurs.

If you look around your physical/virtual environment and don't find anyone on the same path, or better yet, further along than you—consider joining Meraki Mastermind.

The next cohort begins on September 4th.

Nine others who are already on their way will be there to support you.

We have a member who just landed a keynote for $3,500 and another who transformed her corporate role from marketing to meditation and is developing a mindfulness curriculum for students worldwide.

We have members starting to bring in 1-1 clients and other more seasoned coaches dialing in their offers.
